We arrived back to Calgary last week from the National Bridal Market in Chicago, which ran March 18th to the 20th. It was such a fun market, lots of high energy & enthusiasm from our current and new retailers!
We released three surprise gowns at market, as well as a separate top, detachable train, and new colour option! We wanted to share them with everyone who didn’t get the chance to see them in person. We hope you love them!

Our detachable tulle train with a satin ribbon waistband was a huge hit at market! We released it a couple weeks before the bridal market, but thought we should add it to this post. The top left image shows SS218 on our Jude gown, and the other photos show SS218 on our new Jemmie gown, both are beautiful combinations!
Top 5 Gowns from the 2018 Collection
1 ~ Jude
Everyone loves the unique non-traditional sequinned lace, the low back, and the oyster colour.
2 ~ June
The daring turns heads, along with the low backline, and the gorgeous horsehair ribbon trim.
3 ~ Jodene
The non-traditional lace pattern that starts at the bodice and travels down the back of the gown to the illusion train catches everyone’s attention.
4 ~ James
People love the shiny lace bodice with long sleeves and the open back. The flowing chiffon skirt is also popular.
5 ~ Jordan
While the lace on this gown is very traditional, the ruching at the back is modern and fashion-forward.
We would like to thank everyone who took the time to travel to Chicago and come visit our showroom! We got to chat with some of our current retailers and welcome a couple new ones to the Lis Simon family. See you next time!
