You can find their boutique at Versailles, Ohio. These bridal consultants pledge “to always be honest, trustworthy, and to provide the best customer service possible”. Now, isn’t that amazing?!
Why and how did you start/acquire Antoinette Bridal Boutique?
I, Heidi DeMange, being a hair stylist and makeup artist, have loved working with brides for over a decade. As much as I loved helping brides create the perfect look for such a special day, I couldn’t help but continually dream about embracing this idea further into my love for fashion and individual beauty enhancement in such a meaningful way. One day the right opportunity appeared and I focused on this idea of finally opening my own bridal boutique, one that would offer brides head-to-toe styling. I knew this task was much too large for a mom of two boys to do all on her own, so I asked my friend, Allison Cox, to partner with me on this journey! Alli studied fashion and retail in college and worked for a few fashion labels in New York before moving back to the area. Her expertise felt like the perfect pairing to my own for the task at hand. She couldn’t have agreed more, we were excited and ready for the adventure. We knew we could offer a new and different bridal experience in our region.
Being located downtown of our historical town of Versailles, Ohio, it only felt right to embrace our french heritage. WIth our name, we decided to pay homage to the most famous Versailles-native, queen of France, Marie Antoinette. Rich jewel tones, beautiful florals, gold and velvet accents, chandeliers and a flair of Versailles with a touch of modern finishes setting the stage for our shop. So Antoinette Bridal Boutique (La Boutique De Mariage) it was. . . Live a day as a queen, the most special day of your life deserves special attention!

What do you love most about your job?
Everything! It is such a joy and honor to help create and style every bride that comes in our door. Even if it's just to finish her accessory details. We love all our customers! We have so much love to share, and what could be a more perfect occasion than bridal dress shopping for their celebration of love.
What tips would you offer brides?
1. If it's your first appointment, have ideas of what you think you would like but be open.
2. Try one dress of every silhouette. Most brides are surprised by what they think they are walking down the aisle in versus what they actually say yes to.
3. Come prepared: wear a strapless bra, nude undergarments and maybe bring that cute pair of heels in the height you see yourself wearing that day. Come the way you envision yourself that day. If you plan to have your hair and makeup done then it's important to come with it on and hair curled or how you prefer. (It's hard to envision yourself in a beautiful gown if you don't feel you look beautiful yourself that day. Take the time and make it an eventful/memorable day!)
4. Lastly, have the mindset to Say Yes! Often it catches brides off guard that they may have found "the one" on their first appointment. Instead of being an exciting moment of celebration it becomes stressful simply because they didn't have a mindset that they could possibly succeed in their hunt on the first appointment.
What is your current favourite wedding dress trend?
The ability to customize almost everything! No bride is the same and what one may like about one gown, another may not. So having the option to add or take away an aspect of a gown or simply build her gown can sometimes be the small adjustment that takes a bride’s “if-it-only” gown and transforms it into THE gown!
What is your favorite gown from the Lis Simon 2020 collection and why?
Ooooooh hard question, personally we are going to have to say Lena. She is a beautiful balance of modern chic, traditional, bold yet timeless. We actually like to reference her as our modern Aubrey Hepburn look.
What are you hoping to see in the Lis Simon 2021 collection?
More additions and options to the separates collection! We love this option as we can really create and cater to all sizes and bridal styles! Also maybe some light/airy gowns that are great for outdoor venues. We love all of the big looks that were coming out in 2020 but with the COVID impact, our brides are changing and being forced into more outdoor venues which also changes what she would be comfortable in for her day.
Any exciting news or upcoming events for Antoinette Bridal Boutique?
Actually yes! Not only are we celebrating Antoinette's one-year anniversary this October but to our surprise in February both of us owners, Heidi and Allison, are expecting little ones again!
What do the next few months have in store for Antoinette Bridal Boutique?
Celebrating, expanding, and preparing! We have lots of 2020 Antoinette brides and grooms as well as new incoming 2021's to celebrate this fall/winter and we are excited to showcase them and celebrate their love! Our designers are consistently releasing new collections and we are excited to continue to expand our collection with new fresh looks. We also just finished up two amazing inventory marketing photoshoots that we are beyond excited to continue to release imagery of via our social media platforms. Preparing for our 2021 brides and what we can best do to continue to support, guide and style them through all the new changes that came in this last year, as well as, prepare helpers for this winter for when we take a few moments away to celebrate our own families love in bringing our new little ones into the world!
