Greetings, Oklahoma babes, this one is for you! We are thrilled to announce the newest and prettiest store in Tulsa, Oklahoma, La Mariée Boutique! La Mariée offers a full service, bespoke bridal boutique for the timeless and romantic bride. Brides are ensured to have a once in a lifetime experience, classy lounge spaces for your loved ones, stylish dressing rooms, and a customized shopping experience to find your dream dress. Not only that, to glam up your bridal look, they also sell accessories! From belts to jewelries, they’ve got it all for you!
To congratulate their opening, we’ve spoken to them and asked how the story of their boutique started.
WHY AND HOW DID YOU START LA MARIÉE BOUTIQUE?
We are a mother and daughter team and we have always wanted to start a business together! While I was planning my wedding back in 2018, we fell in love with the process and felt drawn to the world of weddings. I have always loved fashion and in January of 2020 we landed on the idea of a bridal gown boutique. We were in the thick of planning when COVID hit so we decided to pause on our plans. Two years passed and we still had the idea lingering in the back of our minds. At the start of 2022 we decided to try one more time, we stumbled upon the perfect retail space and we decided to take the leap of faith and move full steam ahead! Fast forward 8 months and La Mariée Boutique opened its doors on Aug 12, 2022 !

WHAT DO YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT YOUR JOB?
Meeting and working with our fantastic brides! We truly feel so lucky to be able to help our brides find their dream wedding dress. We get to be part of such a special moment with our brides and their families, we love that moment when a bride realizes she found her dream dress. We love to provide the ultimate bridal shopping experience for our brides.
WHAT TIPS WOULD YOU OFFER BRIDES?
Keep an open mind and trust your bridal stylist! You never know what you might end up loving and our bridal stylist are experts in bridal fashion. They are there to help guide you through the shopping process and always have your best interest in mind.
WHAT IS YOUR CURRENT FAVOURITE WEDDING DRESS TREND?
We are loving simple gowns with a touch of drama! Whether that is an architectural neckline, a beautiful bow train, or a unique detail like feathers. It is so elegant but with a touch of the unexpected!
WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE GOWN FROM THE LIS SIMON 2022 COLLECTION AND WHY?
This is so tough! But I think we have to go with Nina. Between the sleeves and the exposed back, it is that perfect balance between simplicity and drama!
WHAT WEDDING TRENDS ARE YOU NOTICING BRIDES DOING IN YOUR AREA?
Our brides are loving simple, elegant gowns and fully beaded gowns. They are also loving square necklines, dramatic sleeves or gloves, and cathedral veils with unique details - like colourful, floral embroidery.
ANY EXCITING NEWS OR UPCOMING EVENTS FOR LA MARIÉE?
We have a full season of amazing trunk shows ahead of us and can’t wait to help our brides find their dream dress!
WHAT DO THE NEXT FEW MONTHS HAVE IN STORE FOR LA MARIÉE?
In October we head to New York for Bridal Fashion Week so we can stay up to date with the newest trends and make sure our boutique has the best selection of gowns for our brides. We are also heading into a busy dress shopping season so we are planning to help as many brides as we can!
AMONGST ALL OF THE LIS SIMON’S COLLECTION, WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE GOWN AND WHAT MAKES IT SPECIAL?
I would have to say Lucia is probably my most favourite gown. I love the silhouette, the sparkle, the detail and the detachable train is so clever. No need to worry about bustling your gown, just remove the train and you are ready to party!
