We’ve chosen Fabulous Frocks Bridal of Shreveport as our lovely store of the month for February! They have a beautiful, modern boutique located in Shreveport, Louisiana. They carry our bridal gowns, as well as our belts! Jacqui, the owner, has kindly answered our questions.
Why and how did you start Fabulous Frocks Bridal of Shreveport?
I have a degree in Fashion Design and Merchandising and had always dreamt about opening a boutique, so in 2015 I decided to pursue this dream and officially started the journey of opening a bridal boutique. I opened Fabulous Frocks Bridal in Shreveport, Louisiana, in February of 2016 and it has been so exciting and rewarding bringing our area such a unique, charming and upscale bridal shopping experience.

What do you love most about your job?
Styling and helping brides select their dream gowns on that you wouldn’t typically choose. More often than not, our brides fall in love with something that they wouldn’t have ever imagined, but after putting it on, they can’t imagine anything else being more perfect.
What is your current favourite wedding dress trend?
Timeless styles mixed with modern accents.
What is your favourite gown from the Lis Simon 2020 collection and why?
We are obsessed with Liam! We love everything about the entire look, unique lace, cap sleeves, plunging neckline, plunging back and of course, those perfect fabric-covered buttons.

This February we are celebrating our 4th Anniversary!
What do the next few months have in store for Fabulous Frocks Bridal of Shreveport?
We always have something exciting going on in store for our area brides, but we are most excited for our upcoming Lis Simon 2020 Trunk Show set for April 10 to 18. (Book appointment here!)
