THE PROPOSAL

October 10th, 2022

Jess had always wanted to go to New York City, and finally, over Thanksgiving weekend, she and Kevin went on a road trip to make it happen. In Central Park on Monday, October 10, 2022, amidst the city's hustle and bustle, Kevin popped the question. They were in a quiet spot near a waterfall, just the two of them. The sun made everything glow as he presented the ring, and in that perfect moment, they knew their journey together was just beginning.

THE DRESS

Jessica went to four boutiques in search of the perfect wedding dress, bringing only her mom to keep things simple. The idea of having a first look with her bridesmaids excited her. At Ma Cherie Bleue, she found the dress and veil she'd been dreaming of. She wanted an open back but struggled to find one without a deep V-neck. Luckily, Nathalie, the boutique owner, suggested Lis Simon, the designer, could customize it.

Removing the side mesh and adding a low back transformed the dress to her liking. “The low back and the cowl neck in the front matched, it felt organic. Customizing my dress felt so special. Knowing that the dress was going to be original and ‘felt like me’, was a great feeling! And of course the fact that Lis is a Canadian designer was totally a plus!”

WEDDING & RECEPTION

October 8th, 2023 at Chapiteau Le Cardinal

Jessica and Kevin had their friend Cody officiate their wedding, making it extra special. The atmosphere was pure joy and excitement all night long. It was the best night ever, packed with non-stop fun. The venue buzzed with laughter, amazing food, and lively dancing. Everyone hit the dance floor, jumping and moving to the beat. The whole room seemed to shake with their happiness, making it a celebration they'd never forget.

FAVOURITE MOMENTS

Jessica and Kevin had many favourite moments from their wedding day. They loved having a ramen bar for the midnight buffet, a fun surprise for their guests. Having their close friend officiate the ceremony made it extra special. But before the ceremony, Jessica enjoyed getting ready with her girlfriends and mom, just relaxing and chatting. The first look with Kevin was a highlight, giving them some quiet time together before the busy day. They cherished taking pictures and being present in the moment. And the reception was a blast, with lots of laughter, music, and dancing. It was wonderful to see their loved ones having a great time together, making memories that would last a lifetime.
