Natasha Marie Bridal

We've got a new boutique that just opened a few months ago located in Denham Springs, Louisiana. Natasha, the owner of Natasha Marie Bridal has answered some questions for us!

Why did you decide to open Natasha Marie Bridal?

For as long as I can remember, my dream has been to custom design wedding gowns, so for the first 7 years of Natasha Marie Bridal that is exactly what we did. From sketch to pattern to construction, we made a bride's dream of her perfect wedding gown a reality. But designing dresses is a very time-consuming process, which made balancing family life and work a bit of a challenge. So after a lot of thinking and praying, we decided to rebrand Natasha Marie Bridal into a bridal boutique. From there it became clear that this was God's plan, as the perfect location became available at the perfect time. For years it was an antique shop, but after the Great Flood of 2016 the building was bought and completely renovated. That's when we came in and interlaced this whole idea of something old with something new, bringing life to our new home in the historical Denham Springs Antique Village.

What is your current favourite wedding dress trend?

I love the dimension that the mix of fabrics (lace, tulle, beading, etc.) gives a dress.

What is your favourite gown from the Lis Simon 2018 collection and why?

My favorite dress from the 2018 collection is Jasper. It is the updated version of my own wedding gown, a strapless lace mermaid with a ruffle skirt and horsehair to hold the ruffle's shape. LOVE!
