One Bridal
One Bridal is our store of the month for July! They are located in Jacksonville, Florida and carry some of our best selling gowns from the 2018 and 2019 collections. Danielle, the owner, took some time to answer some questions for us. Here is what she said!
Why and how did you start One Fine Day Bridal?
I purchased the store in February 2018 from the previous owner who opened the store in February 2015. I have always had an interest in the fashion industry and decided to take a leap into the bridal industry!
Describe your store in four words.
Trendy, unique, comfortable, and fun!
What do you love most about your job?
I personally love pretty much everything! I love seeing brides in their wedding gowns on their wedding day. I love when our brides have a great experience. I love going to market and seeing new collections. I love the team I work with as well.
What tips would you offer brides?
Start shopping 6 to 8 months before your wedding so that you aren’t limited based on your wedding timeline! Also, trust the consultant about the gowns she is putting you in to try on.
What is your current favourite wedding dress trend?
We are seeing a lot of our designers create dresses that use bold geometric lace patters that I am loving!
What is your favourite gown from the Lis Simon 2019 collection and why?
Kim – her train is beautiful!
What are you hoping to see in the Lis Simon 2020 collection?
We are hoping to see some 3D floral laces.
Any exciting news in regards to One Fine Day Bridal?
We just rebranded the store last month! We changed our name from One Find Day Bridal Salon to just One Bridal. We changed out all of our decor to give the store a modern look. We are still in the process of adding a few other new things including a photo wall!
What do the next few months have in store for One Fine Day Bridal?
In the next few months, we have one trunk show coming up and then we will be prepping for market and the busy season! We also have quite a few styled shoots on the books. There are several new wedding venues in Jacksonville that we are working with and can’t wait to see some of our dresses styled at each place!
