Best Carry-Overs of All Time

To celebrate our 10 year anniversary, we’ve created a list of gowns from previous collections. This is a list of our top 10 gowns from previous collections, one gown from each, that brides still love!

2010 Spring “A” Collection

2010 was our second year in business and our very first collection. While most of the styles are now outdated, our Aubrie gown is still what some brides are looking for. As it’s from our first collection, not many retailers have it in their boutiques. Not to fear though, we never discontinue a gown unless the fabric is no longer available. If you are interested in the Aubrie gown, just find the closest Lis Simon retailer to you via our boutique finder and let them know!

2010 Fall “B” Collection

We decided to create two collections in 2010. That was the designer norm and we were just starting out. Looking back, one collection a year is much more beneficial for our retailers and we’re glad we pivoted our business plan. The most popular gown from our “B” Collection is Bernadett.

2011 “C” Collection

Our Constance gown is still a popular pick for brides looking for that exact style of ball gown skirt. Popular fashion blogger Brittany Sjogren, more commonly known as Loverly Grey, wore Constance at her wedding in 2015. She looked absolutely stunning in our gown!

2012 “D” Collection

Our 2012 “D” Collection was filled with lots of fabric flowers on waistbands. When brides order this collection now, they usually ask for the flower to be removed. Oh, how fashion has changed! The Deidre gown was and still is a fan favourite.

2013 “E” Collection

In 2013, textures were all the rage, and to keep up with ever-changing trends, this collection was full of textures. Ruffles, laces, rhinestones, beading, Point D’Esprit fabric, you name it! Fashion has since changed, and gowns are a bit more simple than they used to be, but brides still love our Erin gown.

2014 “F” Collection

Our 2014 “F” Collection was full of laces. This is when our gorgeous lace overlays started. We took a few risks by adding leg slits, peplum skirts, lace jackets, and high-low skirts. Francis was a gorgeous gown with a traditional lace overlay, keyhole back, and leg slit.

2015 “G” Collection

2015 was our 5th year creating bridal gown! This collection was full of classic gowns with a modern twist. The use of lace appliqués and illusion necklines provided a soft, timeless, romantic look. Gwyneth was exactly that, a beautiful ball gown with cascading horse hair ribbon and a lace bodice.

2016 “H” Collection

The “H” Collection was when our company really took off and retailers started to know us. The collection was filled with elegant, traditional laces and tulle. We also introduced a beautiful, soft, flowing chiffon skirt, which was part of the Hayden gown. The gown, to this day, is one of our most popular gowns. We do many customizations including full-length and mid-length sleeves, a V-neck, and an open back.

2017 “I” Collection

The “I” Collection was when we stepped into the boho style. The gowns had delicate laces and soft fabrics. We released our most popular colour option, Oyster, which is a silvery purple-grey. At the time, the boho styles weren’t very popular, but now that the boho trend has blossomed, these gowns have become more popular! This collection was before it’s time. The Idina gown was our best-seller from this collection, and continues to prove the dress is still popular.

2018 “J” Collection

Our “J” Collection was our 10th collection! What a milestone! We released 23 beautiful gowns made of soft fabrics, intricate non-traditional lace, and low backs. This collection had everything from simple clean styles to bold plunging necklines. There was something for every bride.

2019 “K” Collection

Last years collection has proven to be very successful. In 2019 we released a new colour option, Mocha, which has been very popular. This collection had a lot of dramatic lace overlays and daring necklines. We also released our first set of detached sleeves, which can be lace-matched for many of our gowns. Keegan was by-far the most popular gown from this collection. The fit and flare cut paired with the unique lace overlay creates the perfect gown.
