The Bride

We're featuring The Bride located in Tampa, Florida as July's Store of the Month! They're a cute little boutique that picked us up last year. Viktoria, the owner took a little time to answer some of our questions!

Why and how did you start The Bride?
I have worked in the bridal industry for years and have had the privilege to work alongside a designer, which was what initially fueled my love for the bridal industry. I have had a dream of opening my own bridal boutique for several years. When I moved to Tampa, Florida in 2014, I searched for bridal shops in the Tampa Bay area that would offer non-traditional, chic, unique, and even hand-made bridal gowns and to my surprise, it was like trying to find a needle in a haystack! I took the opportunity to fill this gap and have brought forth The BRIDE with a desire to offer stylish and unique bridal selections to our brides.

Describe your store in four words.
Stylish, intimate, friendly, relaxing.

What is your favourite part about your job?
Oh there are so many! But mainly I love seeing our lovely brides' joy, relief, and excitement when they find their dream gown!

What tips would you offer brides?
The one piece of advice I always give to our brides is to remain true to who they are as they select their perfect gown without trying to look completely different just for their wedding day.

What is your current favourite wedding dress trend?
Admittedly, I love a sexy slit on a skirt and a slight bit obsessed with removable trains!

What is your favourite gown from the Lis Simon 2018 collection and why?
Hands down Jude. Love the pattern and texture of the lace and the cut is just super flattering on all kinds of body shapes.

What do the next few months have in store for The Bride?
Lots of happy brides and new gowns to showcase to our girls!
