Lis Simon Bride Kendyl

Kendyl and Aspen met at Morehead State University in Kentucky. They had both been chosen to be part of the honours program, and although they didn't talk much their first year, they eventually moved into the same dorm and started a friendship. They randomly made excuses to see each other for months, "I can't even begin to tell you the amount of times I needed help with something that I could totally fix, or sitting in the dorm lobby waiting to see Aspen pass by". Finally, they told one another they liked them.

Kendyl and Aspen got married on June 10, 2017, at the Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky! They are both originally from Kentucky, but moved to Kansas a couple years ago. They wanted the wedding to be special to their Kentucky roots and decided what better way to do that than at a bourbon distillery!! The ceremony and reception were both wondering and had a vintage, romantic feel!
